Dear students,
I wish to let you know about the next Department colloquium, that will be given (obviously online) on Thursday 20th by Clemens Bechinger on the "Formation of collective states using programmable active matter". Definitely an example of complex systems, dealing with the manipulation of living microorganisms to control pattern formation. Prof Bechinger is an outstanding scientist and speaker.
