One of the consortium members, Università di Pisa, is looking for two junior research scientists or even perspective PhD
students, one to work in the field of chemical-process engineering simulation
and the other in the optimization and techno-economic assessment of the storage
systems (modelled by the first candidate), within the H2020 CompBAT project.
The work will consist, on multi-cells stack
systems simulation of the bio-inspired Flow Batteries developed within the
consortium (for the chemical profile) and techno-economic assessment,
developing a tool capable to assess the optimal management and design targeting
certain key economic figures (for the optimization profile).
Suitable candidates are expected to be skilled
in either modelling chemical processing or coding (e.g. Matlab or Python) and
optimization (e.g. mixed integer linear programing), independence is a must; we
