Cornell University's Migrations Initiative has several events planned for the current semester and open to all (https://migrations.cornell.edu/learn):

Our "Reimagining Citizenship" speaker series (https://migrations.cornell.edu/learn/reimagining-citizenship-speaker-series) includes book launches, author readings, and talks around notions of borders, community, and belonging. Links to register are on the main page there.

Noah Tamarkin's book launch and roundtable discussion for Genetic Afterlives: Black Jewish Indigeneity in South Africa (Duke UP) will take place on 2/26 at 1pm. You can find information at the page listed above and register directly here: https://migrations.cornell.edu/learn/reimagining-citizenship-speaker-series.

Our film series, hosted with Cornell Cinema, features three documentaries that illustrate the interconnectedness of human migration, ecological questions, and rights issues. Each film streams for a week, during which time we'll host a panel discussion. Information and links to register here: https://migrations.cornell.edu/learn/migrations-film-series-spring-2021

We've also launched a monthly podcast, Migrations: A World on the Move, available to stream on the website or from most podcasting platforms. https://migrations.cornell.edu/podcast

Hope to see you at some of the above!
