The course provides a basic introduction to Relativistic Quantum Field Theory (QFT), as the fundamental theoretical tool to account for the Quantum Mechanical and (Special) Relativistic nature of reality.
Applications to the physics of Quantum ElectroDynamics (QED) will be described in some detail. The most basic elements of the physics of Weak interaction will be also introduced.
Knowledge of Quantum Mechanics and Special Relativity are prerequisites for the course.
