Electromagnetic processing of Materials classes are aimed to give the students a deep knowledge about the use of Electroheat technologies in production and transformation of materials with a focus on sustainability of processes. Moreover a basic introduction on design of resistor furnaces, induction heating systems, Radio Frequency installations and microwave ovens will be given. Laboratories will complete the theoretical part of the course in order to give a practical knowledge of Electroheat Technologies. For students who would like to learn more, a special Innovation laboratory will be proposed.
