Dear students,
we would like to inform you about the publication of the call for participation in the Spring School ExPoSTID (ExPost Italian Diplomacy) to be held at the SPGI (Political Science, Law and International Studies) Department of the University of Padua and the Department of Political Science of the University of Roma Tre, in April 2022.
Aimed at undergraduates and postgraduates, Ph.D. students and Ph.D. students in the areas of techno-sciences, Humanities, Political and Social Sciences, the workshop is a research laboratory on the possibility of creating an unprecedented experimental Master's program that combines science and diplomacy thanks to a strong interaction between experts, academics, diplomats, and students.
Participants will experiment with a number of tools to deepen their understanding of issues related to science, diplomacy and decision-making processes, which are fundamental in a world of increasing technological density that requires techno-scientific diplomacy in the face of challenges that are now global. Particular attention will be paid to Italy, which has developed techno-scientific competencies in the European and global context that animate experiences of cooperation and competition in a dynamic diplomatic framework.
