Period: First Semester

Course Unit Contents: The course introduces the seismic reflection method for exploration seismology. The students will introduce to the acquisition and processing of seismic reflection data, for both marine and land surveys. The course starts describing the most adopted acquisition protocols in industrial seismic exploration, illustrating sources and receivers characteristics. The standard seismic reflection processing flow will then discussed with real examples and exercises.
