The course aims at developing a critical appraisal of the current issues raised by the increasing datafication of many crucial aspects of our life, in particular in relation to ideas such as privacy, identity and citizenship. By the end of the course students hopefully will be able to understand and critically assess issues related to fundamental rights in the "algorithmic society" and to the active role played by us as digital citizens in shaping it.
