  • Welcome to the Transnational EVE Project Basic Training!

We are looking forward to working with you over the next four weeks smile

    Week 1: Step 1

Please use the Meet and Greet Forum to introduce yourself. To do so, try to think outside the box:

    Think outside the box treemagineers.com

So...instead of just writing a brief introduction to yourself, please do one or both of the following. Make and/or find:

    - a sound file (your own voice, a piece of music you like, a sound bite from a recording where someone you think highly off says something that echoes your ideas, feelings, etc.),

    - an image file (a photo of a place you like, have not visited yet, but are very much looking forward to seeing one day, an object you have created and/or that decorates you house and that is important to you, etc.).

Then attach it to a posting in the Meet and Greet Forum and tell us about you through the image/sound file, please.

If you are a speaker of English as an Additional Language, please also use this opportunity to introduce us to your language/do some of your introduction in your language and to challenge us a bit!

Deadline: Thursday, March 8, 11:59 pm.

Feel free to react to as many introductory postings/contributions by others as you wish.

Deadline: Saturday, March 10, 11:59 pm.

    Week 1: Step 2

Next, read the background doc on Virtual Exchange (VE) [shall we use the one we are currently working on with the "Groningen Group"?].

    connecting online - utep.edu

Once you have familiarised with its content,

    - tell us  in the VE Forum whether you have any experience with any of the formats of VE described in the doc, or whether you know of yet another version of VE not mentioned in the doc

    - where you see the greatest potential for VE in your current context and briefly explain why.

Deadline: Thursday, March 8, 11:59 pm.

Again, feel free to react to as many postings/contributions in the VE Forum as you wish to. It is a good way to find out what you have in common and what you can probably learn from each other about different approaches to VE.

Deadline: Saturday, March 10, 11:59 pm.
